Pristine Ob-Gyn has a highly trained medical team caring for the health of all of our patients. We are working closely and follow the local, state and national health agencies recommendations in reducing the spread of infection. The best defense against any contagious illness is frequent and proper handwashing and seeking immediate medical assistance if experiencing symptoms. We follow daily protocols of disinfecting the entire office, sterilizing the instruments and using appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure infection control.

We are sharing this information, so you are aware and help reduce the spread of infection. Please follow the CDC recommended guidelines in prevention of the spread of any viruses in this cold and flu season:

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
• Stay at home when you are sick, call our office to reschedule your appointment in 4 weeks or when you are well
• Cover your cough or sneeze with tissue
• Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands often, using either soap and water or alcohol-based hand gel for at least 20 seconds
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces at home/work
